Call me Project

Call Me Brief

“People always have so much on their minds and remembering to call someone can become quite a challenge so a product needs to be designed that can be slid into everyone’s everyday life to eliminate forgotten contact arrangements and frustrating forgetfulness to call someone.”
To eliminate the frustration at forgetting to contact someone, whether it is for casual or important reasons, I will create a streamlined application that can be used in seconds to set a reminder for yourself.

This application will focus on usability, speed of use and user interaction. Overall, I want to focus on the purpose and design of the application, over the aesthetic look. The key focus of this application is that it is streamlined, allowing it be fit into everyday live without interrupting your daily routine/schedule. The application will be 3 or more dropdown bars or buttons; Contacts, Time and subject. This simple, but effective system can for example, remind me to call ‘John’ at 17:00, subject ‘Casual’. This small amount of information is enough to either jog start the user’s memory, or at least give them a basis of topic going into the conversation.

Key goals for this project are:

  • ·         To create a streamlined, effect App
  • ·         App must be easy to use and time effective
  • ·         App must focus on function over form
